About Me

I am a qualified counsellor, and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I am bound by and adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice. Prior to my change in career I have worked at a college with students between the ages 16-19 years and have over 25 years worked in a helping role. Helping others to deliver their potential has been important to me.

I am trained in the Humanistic and Transactional Analysis model of counselling which encourages you to address those aspects of your life which can be causing a block and hope to offer this in a non-judgmental, supportive and caring environment. I hope that we can work together to establish a relationship of respect, trust and confidentiality as I feel it is important to my way of working with you.
