What is counselling?

For those who may be new to counselling and are unsure of what to expect, counselling is a talking therapy that allows individuals to discuss their problems and feelings in a confidential and safe environment. Counselling is not a fairy-tale solution to life’s problems, and it does not always offer instant results.

However, it provides an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how positive changes can help in exploring and addressing difficulties. It serves as a tool to navigate challenging personal issues with additional support. Anyone attending counselling sessions should be prepared to invest time and effort in working toward emotional growth and resolving personal concerns.
